The last Will and Testament of me John Grigg of Largen in the parish of
Broadoak Cornwall, made this seventeenth day of April 1852. To my eldest
Son John Grigg I give one pound. To my Son William my large Bible. To my
Son Nicholas one pound. To my Daughter Catharine my small bible and ten
shillings. To my Son Joseph the clock and to my Daughter Mary one pound.
And I give the residue of my property of any kind soever to be divided
between my Sons William & Joseph and Nicholas and my Daughters Mary and
Catharine, share and share alike, and my wish is that they should live
together for six months after my decease.

Grigg in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of
each other, have hereunto set our hands the day and year above written

On the 23rd May 1853 Administration with Will annexed was granted to
Nicholas Grigg a Son of deceased and one of the Residuary Legatees.
Testator died 4th September 1852. Effects sworn under £100.

In the Goods of John Grigg deceased.
Appeared Personally Nicholas Grigg of Broadoak in the County of Cornwall
labourer one of the Residuary Legatees(there being no Executor) named in
the last Will and Testament of John Grigg late of Largen in the parish
of Broadoak in the County of Cornwall, Woodman deceased, and made oath
that the said deceased died on or about the fourth day of September 1852
and that the Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, which he any way
died possessed of or entitled to within the DIOCESE OF EXETER, and for
or in respect of which a Probate of the said Will is to be granted,
exclusive of what the said Deceased may have been possessed of or
entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or persons, and not
beneficially, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts
due and owing from the said Deceased, are under the Value of One Hundred
Pounds, to the best of the Deponents knowledge, information, and belief.
And he lastly made Oath, that the said Deceased was not possessed of or
entitled to any Leasehold Estate or Estate for Years either absolute or
determinable on Lives, to the best of his knowledge, information, and
belief.
