WHEREAS I JOHN WALLIS of the Borough of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall Esquire being seized in fee simple of the several pieces or parcels of land and premises hereinafter described subject only to the several Leasehold interests hereinafter mentioned have contracted with the Bodmin and Wadebridge Railway Company established and Incorporated by the Act of Parliament passed in the second year of the Reign of His Majesty King William the Fourth intitled “ An Act for making maintaining a Railway from Wadebridge in the Parish of Saint Breock to Wenford Bridge Saint Breward with a Collateral Branch to the Borough of Bodmin and certain other branches all in the County of Cornwall “ for the absolute sale of the said premises at the price of £328  11  3  Now these presents witness that in pursuance and further performance of the said Agreement and for and in consideration of the sum of £328  11  3  paid by the said Company of Proprietors the receipt whereof I the said John Wallis DO hereby admit and acknowledge and from the same DO discharge the said Company of Proprietors their Successors and Assigns for ever by these presents I the said John Wallis DO hereby grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Company of Proprietors ALL those several fields or parcels of land on which the works of the said Company and was constructed and made (that is to say) ALL that piece of land inclosed by the said Railway Company for the Wharfs at Bodmin and the entrance thereto from certain moors and gardens at Berrycombe in the said Borough of Bodmin Together with the whole of the fences surrounding the said Wharf And also ALL that piece of land on which the commencement of the Branch Railway leading from the said wharf is made Together with the whole of the Southern Fence thereof  and the said last mentioned piece of land extending in breadth from the said Southern Fence 6 feet beyond the Northern Rail as now laid by the said Company the whole of which premises contained by admeasurement 3 roods and 30 perches be the same more or less and so delineated in the Plan drawn in the margin of these presents and are distinguished by the colour RED AND also All those parts and parcels fenced off from 3 different fields at the Junction of the said Bodmin Branch with the main line of the said Railway in the parish of Bodmin forming part of a Tenement called Pendavey in the occupation of James Lobb as Tenant to me the said John Wallis and containing altogether half an acre and three perches (be the same more or less) AND also ALL those parts and parcels of a field forming part of a Tenement called Browns Tenement in the parish of Helland now in the occupation of Humphrey Dreadon as Tenant to and the said John Wallis which last mention premises contained 16 perches (be the same more or less) AND also those parts and parcels of 2 fields part of a Tenement called Ugglecoham in the Parish of Helland now in the possession of Thomas Pease of the said Parish of Helland Yeoman for all the residue and remainder of a term of 99 years created by and Indenture of land bearing date the 17th day of July 1779 and made or expressed to be made between Sir Christopher Trecise Baronet of the one part and John Brown of the other part which term is now determinable on the death of Thomas Rickard and which said premises last mentioned contain altogether one quarter of an acre and three perches customary measure (be the same more or less) ALSO ALL that part of a coppice wood adjoining the premises last described called Little Shilwood in the said parish of Helland now in the occupation of and the said John Wallis which said last mentioned parcel contains 24 perches of land customary measure (be the same more or less) AND also ALL those parts and parcels of a Field part of a Tenement called    Overlands in the Parish of Blisland now in the possession of Richard Andrew of the Parish of Saint Mabyn in the County of Cornwall Gentleman or his undertenants for the residue of a term of 99 years created by an Indenture of Lease bearing date the 1st day of May 1797 and made or expressed to be made between Sir John Morohead Baronet of the one part and Christopher Andrew of the other part which is now determinable on the death of Richard Hambly Andrew which last mentioned parcel contains 10 perches of land ( be the same more or less) Together with all ways rights and appurtenances to the said several pieces and parcels of land and premises hereinbefore granted and released or expressed and intended so to be AND all the Estate Right title and interest of and the said John Wallis both at law and in equity of in and to the same and every part thereof TO HOLD the same to the said Company of Proprietors and their Successors and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the said recited Act subject to the said Indentures of Lease AND whereas I the said Thomas Pearse have contracted with the said Company for the sale of my Estate and interest in the said premises hereinbefore described at the price of £1  2  9  AND I the said Richard Andrew have contracted with the said Company for the sale of my Estate and interest in the Premises hereinbefore described at the price of £1  4  9 Now in consideration of the said sum of £1  2  9 to the said Thomas Pearse and the sum of £1  4  9 to me the said Richard Andrew paid by the said Company the receipt of which said several respective sums the said Thomas Pearse and Richard Andrew DO severally and respectively admit and from the same DO and each of us DOTH discharge the said Company of Proprietors their Successors and Assigns ALL such and so many and such part and parts of the hereditaments and premises and parcels of land hereinbefore described and granted and released or expressed and intended so to be as and comprised in and demised by the Indenture of Lease hereinbefore described in part recited or referred to TOGETHER with all ways rights and appurtenances to the same respectively belonging AND all our and each and every of our Estate Right Title terms and interest of in and to the same and every part thereof respectively TO hold the said Company of Proprietors and their Successors for all the residue of the said several terms estates and interests to the intent that the same may respectively merge and be extinguished IN WITNESS whereof we the said John Wallis Thomas Pearse and Richard Andrew have hereunto set our hand and seal the 13th day of November 1834
