The Will of John Stephens, dated 23 January 1677

John Stephens
In the Name of God Almighty I John Stephen of the pish of
St Austell in the County of Cornwall yeoman being sick and weake of
of body but perfect of mind & memory thanks be to god doe make my
last will and testament in manner and form following
First I give my soule unto God my Creature & my body to Christian
buryall Item I give unto my cosin Joanne Allin five pounds of
Lawfull mony Item I give unto her son William Allin five pounds
Item I give unto my cosin William Hores son John Hoore
five pounds
Item I give unto his Daughter Hanna Hoore fifteen shillings Item
I dou give unto my cosin John Wolcock five pounds Item I doe
give unto him all my tyn bonds Item I doe Give unto my cosin
Mary Wolcock ten shillings Item I Give unto my cosin Elizabeth
Wolcock
ten shillings Item I give unto my cosin Rebecca Wolcock ten
shillings
Item I doe give unto Jane Inman? fifteen shillings Item I doe
give
unto Grace Bennett fifteen shillings Item all the rest of my
goods
and Chattles not formerly given I doe Give and Bequeath unto my
cosin Samuell Hony and him I doe make my whole and sole
Executor of this my Last will and testament In witness hereof
I have hereunt put my hand and seale the three and twentieth
day of January in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred
seventy ......... 1677
