Know all men by these presents that we ANTONEY
GIMBLET of ye Pish of
Tresmeer Husbandman and
WILLIAM GIMBLET of ye Pish of Landest and ROBART
GIMBLET of ye Pish of
Treneglas Husbandmen, all of the
County of Cornwall, are held and firmly bound unto
WILLIAM BAURNARD THOMAS WHALE Churchwarden EDMON BENNETT
and JNO GILL Overseers of ye Parish of Altarnun and
County of Cornwall in the sum of One hundred Pounds of
Lawfull mony of Great Britain to be paid to them the Sd WILLIAM BURNARD THOMAS WHALE EDMON
BENNETT and JNO
GILL or ever or either of them or thare certain attorney
successor or successors as Churchwardens and Overseers
of the said Pish of Alternun for the time being which
payment well and truly to be made wee bind our selves
respectively our Respective Haires executors and
administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with our
seals Dated this Sixteenth day of June in the Twenty
eight year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France
and Ireland King Defender of the faith and in the Year
of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty five. NOW the condition of this Obligation is such that if the Above named ANTONEY GIMBLET WILLIAM GIMBLET and ROBART GIMBLET or Eaither of them, thare or aither thare Haires Executors or Administrators doe and shall from time to time and at all times here after fully and clearly acquite and discharge and save and keep harmlis as well the Above named WILLIAM BURNARD THOMAS WHALE EDMON BENNETT and JOHN GILL Church Wardens and Overseers of the sd Pish of Altarnun [here is a crease in the document] as a fee ?----- as also all the inhabitance (sic) and Parishioners of the sd Pish of Alternun which now are or hereafter shall be for ye time being of and from all and all manner of Cost Charges and Expenses wtsoever wh shall or may in any waise or at any Time Here after a Rise happen com Growe or be imposed upon them or any or either of Them for or By Reson of the Bearth Education or maintaince of Such Child or Childrain and of and from all actions and Sutes Charges and troubles whatsoever concerning the same then this Obligation to be voide other wise to Remain in full forse and virtue.
