CORNWALL ONLINE PARISH CLERKS - helping bring the past alive

THE PARISH OF

CORNELLY

Cornelly is a small rural parish and you will not find a village of that name! The church of St Cornelius is tucked away down a lane off a by-road between Probus and Tregony. Until 1973 the church was under the care of the Vicar of Probus but this duty has now switched to Tregony-with-Cuby.

The Online Parish Clerk for Cornelly is Lorna Leadbetter, who may be reached via Email.

A Message from the OPC:

Please visit my website.

Although born in Probus parish, I was christened at Cornelly Church because it was closer to our farm. I have not lived in Cornwall for over 40 years but I visit as often as I can.

My collection of Cornelly information includes: Baptisms 1670-1901; Marriages 1700-1901; Burials 1673-1978; Monumental Inscriptions; Census 1841-1901; Kelly's Directory of Cornwall 1919. I have assembled a large number of family trees for the two parishes, and really enjoy answering queries about them.

Lorna
